3 Tips for Glasses-Wearing Brides and Grooms

If you and your partner are both wearing eyeglasses, and are about to tie the knot in the auspicious month of June, you want to make sure that you look your best. Here are three tips to keep in mind.

1. Invest in special frames. A wedding, or any special occasion for that matter, calls for special frames. You can try matching them with the color of your engagement ring or the motif of the ceremony. We highly recommend choosing between gold, silver and rose gold frames. If you are the groom, consider formal glasses that can accentuate your eyebrows. Your frames should fit your face shape perfectly to make you look dashing on your big day.

2. Find the right fit for your eyeglasses. To get the perfect frames in relation to the dimensions of your face, schedule a custom fitting with your eye doctors. They will be able to find the ones that will complement your face, particularly its shape and its features like eyes, ears and nose. Make sure that you’re comfortable wearing your new pair of glasses as well. You don’t want to spend most of your special day adjusting the frames, especially as you walk down the aisle.

3. Choose the best makeup artist for your wedding day. The right makeup artist should have enough experience working with brides who wear glasses. They should be able to put on a look that will help accentuate the eyes through your pair of frames.
